Play Like a Girl is a book about the founding story of the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy (KGSA), a free high school for girls in the Kibera settlement/slum of Nairobi, Kenya. KGSA was started by a Muslim man who created a soccer program to get girls from the slums off of the streets and into something productive. Over the years, it has grown from a soccer team, to a one-room school with thirteen students, to a full-fledged high school serving 130 girls each year.
Suggested entrance: $10 for adults, $5 for children
